Antenna supplier Taoglas has announced eight 5G NR antenna designs to support emerging 5G applications, such as small cells, repeaters, industrial IoT and UAVs.

Taoglas’ portfolio addresses both sub-6 GHz — cellular, Wi-Fi and GNSS bands — and mmWave systems.

For 5G NR systems at mmWave frequencies, Taoglas has designed and tested numerous array subsystem prototypes using the chipsets from five OEMs, helping resolve some of the most complex antenna design challenges with its RFIC partners.

For 5G systems operating below 6 GHz, Taoglas offers more than 40 off-the-shelf products, which can be delivered to any location globally within days.

The full range of Taoglas products, including its latest mmWave hybrid antenna array subsystem, is being displayed at the Embedded World conference in Nuremberg this week. Product information is also available at the company’s website.
