Rogers Corp. introduced BISCO®HT-350, a new cellular silicone solution for gasketing and sealing in applications requiring lightweight and low compression force. Well suited for a wide variety of enclosures, the new medium-firm BISCO HT-350 silicone material pairs the lightweight properties of a foam with the enhanced sealing capabilities of a traditional sponge rubber.
With as little as 5 percent compression (using the standard ASTM F37 test method), the material provides exceptional sealing for industrial, automotive or mass transit enclosures, where cushioning, vibration isolation and insulation must withstand a wide range of environmental extremes. The new option is highly flame resistant
The HT-350 is also a cost-effective sealing solution, particularly in large volume production.
