Introducing a new Norden block frequency converter product to extend 40 GHz ELINT systems to 70 GHz. RF input 1 accepts 40 to 60 GHz with a band switch at 50 GHz, RF input 2 accepts 60 to 70 GHz. The single common IF output covers between 2.4 and 17.6 GHz. The unit operates with an external LO signal of 14.4 GHz or 16 GHz (depending on band). To save DC power unused portions of the unit are turned off, and the unit also has a power down command.
