Point-to-point wireless backhaul networks provide reliable access to high-speed data and voice services without fiber optic infrastructure connectivity. According to a recent report by iGR, the North American market for wireless backhaul metrocells is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 146 percent over the next five years. The company’s new VCO solutions are optimized for these applications and offer outstanding output power and phase noise performance at the industry’s highest order quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM).

ANADIGICS’ new voltage-controlled oscillators utilize the company’s leading HBT process to deliver outstanding phase noise and output power. These products also feature integrated divide-by-2 and divide-by-4 with internal resonators.This level of performance and integration is offered in a compact 5 x 5 mm, 32-lead package with an industry-standard pinout. The AMV8901, AMV8902, AMV8903, AMV8904, AMV8905, AMV8906, AMV8907, AMV8908 and AMV8909 are the first solutions being offered in this new catalog product family.
