TriQuint Semiconductor Inc., an  RF solutions supplier and technology innovator, has released three new packaged gallium arsenide (GaAs) RF power amplifiers that deliver high output, gain and efficiency for commercial and defense applications including point-to-point microwave radio, radar, VSAT and related applications.

TriQuint’s new amplifiers feature low-loss, ground-signal-ground (GSG) RF transitions designed to interface with a coplanar waveguide multilayer PC circuit board for superior grounding. The packaging enables TriQuint’s amplifiers to serve on either side of a PCB board, which facilitates a greater variety of component layout alternatives.

The new products will be on display along with other innovative RF solutions at WAMICON 2013 in Orlando, Florida (April 7-9), Booth 15. The company will also display its latest gallium nitride (GaN) solutions that enable a wide range of communications, radar and defense applications with greater frequency coverage, high efficiency and superior gain. TriQuint also offers a wide selection of SAW / BAW (surface acoustic / bulk acoustic wave) filters including its new GPS diplexer modules that are up to three times smaller than other market solutions. Our diplexers can incorporate any standard TriQuint CSP5 filter into a base module, offering customers greater design flexibility across a product’s lifecycle.
