Linear Q-Band SSPA Driver
MITEQ introduces a new addition to its line of linear SSPA and TWT drivers.
Four models cover all of the common satellite communication bands, AMFLD-05700850-60-16P for C-/X-Band, AMFLD-12501850-60-18P for Ku-/DBS-Band, AMFLD-27003100-60-12P for Ka-Band, and AMFLD-43504550-100-17P for Q-Band. All four models have a common outline of 3.7” x 2.5” x 0.73”, SMA or K connectors for RF I/O and a multi-pin connector for supply, controls and detector output in addition to RoHS compliance.
AMFLD-43504550-100-17P has a gain of 33 to 37 dB; flat to within less than 1 dB typical, P1dB of 17 dBm minimum, and output IP3 of over 23 dBm. Power monitor DC output and gain are well compensated, allowing for a fully compliant temperature range of -25 to +80°C for the driver. Also incorporated is 30 dB of linear gain control. Driver has a noise figure of less than 10 dB, operates from a single 15V and draws 450 mA typical.
