Planar Monolithics Industries Inc. (PMI) has announced that effective April 30 2013, PMI acquired100% of all the assets & property of Hari LLC. 

Raymond Sicotte, chairman and CEO of American Microwave Corp. (AMC), and Ashok (Ash) Gorwara, chairman, president and CEO of Planar Monolithics Industries Inc. (PMI), wish to announce that they have completed realignment and separation of AMC and PMI.

PMI Model No. PSD-6G16G-CD-1 is high power, switch box assembly that provides protection to front-end receivers when in the presence of high power signals.  This is accomplished by sensing the input signal level and then switching the input signal into 50 ohms terminations when a set threshold level is exceeded.  This assembly operates from 6.0 to 18.0 GHz and can handle input power levels up to 10 W CW.

PMI Model No. POB-16-48-22-LCA is a 4.0 to 8.0 GHz low noise amplifier which provides 16 dB of gain while maintaining a gain flatness of ±1.0 dB typically over the operating frequency. The noise figure is 3 dB typical and offers a typical OP1 dB of +22 dBm. The amplifier requires +12 to +15 VDC and the current draw is 225 mA typical.

PMI Model No. PS-360-3237-8-292FF is a high speed, millimeter wave, 8-bit digitally controlled, phase shifter that operates over the frequency range of 32.0 to 37.0 GHz.  This phase shifter offers a low insertion loss of 13 dB typically and maintains a VSWR of 1.8:1.  The total phase shift range is 358.593° having a step size of 1.406° and switches between states in less than 500 ns.

PMI Model No. P8T-2G6G-90-T-55-SFF is a high speed, single pole, eight throw, absorptive switch that operates over the frequency range of 2.0 to 6.0 GHz.  This switch offers very-high isolation of 97 dB typical while maintaining a typical fast switching speed of 30 ns.  The operating input power rating is +23 dBm CW with an insertion loss of 3.5 dB.

PMI Model No. PDVAN-8018-60-8-OPT25DBM is an 8-Bit digitally programmable attenuator that operates over the frequency range of 8.0 to 18.0 GHz.  This model offers low loss of 3.6 dB typically and an attenuation range of 60 dB. This model was designed to handle input power levels up to +25 dBm CW under operating conditions and signal levels up to +30 dBm CW without damage. 

PMI Model No. PEC3-40-1D6G2D7G-15LM-SFF is a limiting amplifier that operates over the frequency range of 1.6 to 2.7 GHz and offers a limited output of 15 dBm  ± 2 dBm.  The saturated power frequency flatness is ±1.5 dB maximum with a gain of 35 dB minimum and a typical noise figure of 4.5 dB.  The 2nd harmonic rejection is 24 dBc typically with an OIP3 of +18 dBm typical.
