CPI TMD Technologies was awarded over £4 million by Innovate UK’s SBRI Quantum-enabled positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) systems competition to develop exceptionally high precision quantum-enabled PNT systems that can be used to identify an object’s exact position in time and space without the use of satellite signals.

Communications & Power Industries (CPI) has successfully completed the purchase of TMD Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries, including TMD Technologies Limited and TMD Technologies, LLC. Consisting of approximately 170 employees in facilities in the United Kingdom and the United States, TMD is a world-leading designer and manufacturer of technologically advanced microwave, radio frequency and high voltage equipment for radar, electronic warfare, communications, medical, EMC testing and scientific applications.

The Communications & Medical Products Division of Communications & Power Industries (CPI) has been awarded an €8.7 million, or approximately $9.5 million, contract by Airbus Defence and Space to support a new generation of satellites that is expected to provide global advanced meteorological data from 2021 until after 2040.

The Communications & Medical Products (CMP) Division of Communications & Power Industries LLC (CPI) has been awarded two contracts aggregately valued in excess of $1.5 million from an Asian integrator for the company’s 40 and 50 W Ku-Band GaN-based block up-converters (BUCs) and related accessories. 

Communications & Power Industries LLC (CPI) acquired ASC Signal Corp., which designs and builds advanced satellite communications, radar and high-frequency antennas and controllers. ASC Signal's high-performance antennas are used in commercial and government satellite communications, terrestrial communications, imagery and data transmission, and radar and intelligence applications.
