Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Thales announced that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, has approved the incorporation of their joint venture company, BEL-THALES Systems Ltd. that will support civilian and select defence radars for India and global markets.

 Eta Devices, Inc. announced that ETAdvanced is now available for 802.11ac bringing the benefits of the world’s most efficient power amplifier technology to Wi-Fi networks. The announcement follows Eta Devices’ introduction of ETAdvanced for LTE in February at the Mobile World Congress. The Wi-Fi solution announcement includes the Eta6 power management chip together with reference designs for smartphones.

 Teledyne LeCroy introduces the WaveSurfer 3074, extending the bandwidth range of the popular WaveSurfer 3000 series of oscilloscopes to 750 MHz. WaveSurfer 3000 oscilloscopes feature the MAUI advanced user interface, previously available only on higher-end oscilloscopes. 

 ParkerVision, Inc., a developer and marketer of semiconductor technology solutions for wireless applications, introduced the PVOA20x series of operational amplifiers. The launch product in this series is the PVOA201, a 165 MHz ultra-low power, low noise, fully-differential operational amplifier.
