Laser Services Inc. has announced the addition of a new microscope-aligned CO₂ laser to bring greater capacity to their substrate and PCB cutting department. This brings the total of microscope-aligned CO₂ lasers to four in daily operation, adding 33 percent capacity to their fine alignment capability. This increased capacity allows for quicker order turns and shorter lead times.

Stackpole's RAVN Series is a thin film based chip array designed for applications with tight tolerance or tight TCR requirements. The Series offers four resistive elements in a 1.6 x 3.2 mm package with resistance values from 100 Ω up to 33 K Ω in a 0.1 percent tolerance.
