Tektronix Inc. announced a series of new models, options and enhancements to its popular MSO/DPO4000B and MSO/DPO3000 mixed signal oscilloscope series, helping to address a broader range of embedded system test and debug needs at more aggressive price points.

LeCroy Corp. announces the extension of its LabMaster 10 Zi product line to 65 GHz, from a previously-announced 60 GHz, and unveils a roadmap to provide 100 GHz of real-time bandwidth in the LabMaster 10 Zi platform. New bandwidths, mixed-signal analysis and options for testing USB interfaces, CAN LIN buses and audio signals: Rohde & Schwarz significantly expanded its oscilloscope portfolio in 2012. At the embedded world 2013 trade fair in Nuremberg (hall 4, booth 112), the company will present its latest applications, two new probes and other state-of-the-art products.

The USB interface is used extensively for computer applications and for a broad range of embedded connectivity applications.

Rohde & Schwarz performs together with ASTRI a live test on a 2x2 MIMO base station in the uplink and downlink at the Mobile World Congress 2013. Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) provides an LTE-Advanced small cell as the device under test. What makes this demonstration special is that the 2x2 MIMO signal is generated and analyzed using only a single measuring instrument each.
