DC Capital Partners LLC, a private equity firm headquartered in Washington, DC, focused primarily in the defense and government services sector, announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a controlling interest in ClearComm Technologies LLC and RelComm Technologies Inc.

ClearComm Technologies Inc., Fruitland, MD, is a designer and manufacturer of custom and application specific filter products for the wireless and telecommunications markets. RelComm Technologies Inc., Salisbury, MD, designs and manufactures application specific RF coaxial relay products for high volume military and commercial communications applications.

“RelComm and ClearComm both have outstanding reputations with their customers, a history of strong growth and, most importantly, talented management and dedicated employees. We look forward to working with them to expand their capabilities into new markets,” said Thomas J. Campbell, president of DC Capital Partners.

John E. Tinkler III, RelComm co-founder, president and CEO, stated, “DC Capital is exactly the kind of partner we have been looking for. Their expertise in the sectors in which they invest will help us greatly.”

“We look forward to being part of the DC Capital portfolio of companies,” said Lee C. Mason, ClearComm co-founder and CEO. “It opens new doors for us and will provide us with increased opportunities for both internal and external growth.”

The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2007.
