TEST EQUIPMENT

10 MHz General-purpose Lab Pulse Generator
The model AV-1030-C 200 ps rise time, 10 MHz user-friendly generator provides 0 to +/-5 V out (0.5, 1.5 and 5 V ranges) with pulse width variable from 5 ns to 1 ms and fall times of less than 300 ps. The output polarity is switch selectable and delay is variable up to 1 ms. Additional features include low jitter (£ 15 ps), self-explanatory controls, a manual single-pulse mode and a rugged all-metal chassis for low emissions. The instrument requires 110/220 V, 50 to 60 Hz prime power and is housed in a 4" x 16" x 12" metal chassis with SMA connectors.

Radar Return Simulator Integrated Assembly
The model 1663 radar return simulator assembly operates in Ku-band and is designed to provide a programmable phase and amplitude relationship between two channels to simulate radar return signals. The module interfaces with a waveguide manifold, which, in turn, interfaces with waveguide ports of the radar system. The unit contains two in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) vector modulators, five PIN diode switches, one PIN diode transfer switch, one high speed pulse modulator, two isolators, two couplers and one bandpass filter. The unit features better than 1° phase accuracy between channels, built-in test circuitry and an internal EPROM correction table that is used to calibrate out system errors. Size: 5.3" x 3.5" x 0.7".

RF/IF Coaxial Switch Matrix
The model 10840 RF/IF coaxial matrix is a switching unit that connects any 32 inputs to any combination of 32 outputs under RS-232 or IEEE-488 control. The unit's bandwidth of 5 to 250 MHz covers high frequency and VHF bands as well as the 70 to 160 MHz IF range. The system features unity gain at full fanout, which results in a high degree of versatility. Speed setup time up to 40 stored switching configurations may be recalled.
