Anritsu Company introduces three software packages for its MS269xA Signal Analyzer Series that create a powerful tool to support fast and easy evaluation of 3GPP LTE uplink and downlink signals. Taking full advantage of the MS269xA Series’ total level and modulation accuracy over the bandwidth from 50 Hz to 6 GHz, the MX269020A LTE Downlink Measurement Software, MX269021A LTE Uplink Measurement Software, and MX269908A LTE IQproducer™ help ensure compliance of LTE devices and demonstrate Anritsu’s commitment to the successful deployment of next-generation mobile phone systems.

The MX269020A and MX269021A software measure the transmit characteristics of 3GPP LTE Frequency Division Duplex (FDD)-compliant signals. Both software packages are designed with special features, such as a sliding Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis window to provide measurement flexibility and a user-defined reference signal. 3GPP LTE compliant waveform pattern files can be generated by the MX269908A. The patterns can then be output as RF signals from the MS269xA’s optional signal generator to test RF receiver characteristics, as well as to perform transmitter and receiver evaluations. User-defined reference signals can be created and incorporated into the waveform files for transmission, as well as loaded into the MS269xA Series for quick and accurate analysis. With the signal generator built into the MS269xA Signal Analyzer, measurement efficiencies are realized in the development and production of 3GPP LTE base stations, mobile terminals, and components. The 3GPP LTE analysis software is installed directly on the MS269xA analyzer, eliminating the need for an external PC in the test setup, thereby cutting costs and improving efficiency.

In addition to offering high-performance spectrum analyzer functions, the MS269xA series includes vector signal analyzer functions to perform wideband FFT analysis across a standard bandwidth of 31.25 MHz (125 MHz with option) and a digitizer for capturing signal waveforms as digital data. Three models, with frequency ranges that begin at 50 Hz and go up to 6 GHz (MS2690A), 13.5 GHz (MS2691A), and 26.5 GHz (MS2692A), are available in the series. In addition to the optional signal generator, users can create a one-box test solution tailored to their specific analysis needs via options such as Wideband Analysis (125 MHz), Rubidium Reference Oscillator, 3 GHz Pre-Selector, 6 GHz Preamplifier, W-CDMA RNC Simulator (ATM1.5M/2M), and RFIC (DigRF v3) Hardware and Software.

The MX269020A LTE Downlink Measurement Software is priced at $17,212.00, the MX269021A LTE Uplink Measurement Software is $17,212.00, and MX269908A LTE IQproducer™ is $5,164.00. The MS269XA Series has a starting price of $34,000. Delivery is 4 to 6 weeks ARO.
