Characterized for 75 ohm environments, both devices are applicable to cable modems, home gateways, PVRs, DVRs, and terrestrial/cable set top boxes.
RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the TGL2927-SM, a 200 W (pulsed) limiter for radar applications in the 2 to 4 GHz band. Manufactured by Qorvo using VPIN technology, the TGL2927-SM offers low insertion loss of <0.6 dB with a high return loss of 15 dB. With a low flat leakage rate of <18 dBm, this limiter protects receive chains in both commercial and military S-band radar. 
RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for two Skyworks 75 ohm switches serving set top box (STB) applications. The SKY13547-490LF and SKY13548-385LF SPDT switches support both forward and reverse path applications for DOCSIS 3.0 and DOCSIS 3.1 with a frequency range of 5 to 1800 MHz. High linearity typifies these switches as well as low insertion loss (0.3 dB for the SKY13547-490LF and 0.4 dB for the SKY13548-385LF) and high input and output return loss of 20 dB.

Output phase noise is -90 dBc at 10 K offset (typ.) with second harmonic suppression of -15 dBc. With an output power of 0 dBm, the RFVC6405 draws 25 mA from a 5 V supply. Tuning voltage is 0 to 16 Vdc.
