Tahoe RF Semiconductor is announcing a new, innovative, phased array technology called BeamDirect™, for both commercial and military applications. BeamDirect improves the bandwidth and sensitivity of phased array radio systems and enables extremely fine beam steering angle resolutions.

The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD awarded a SBIR Phase II program to Tahoe RF Semiconductor Inc. for developing a miniaturized radiation hardened beam-steerable GPS receiver front end for NASA spacecrafts. This product is designed to improve the signal sensitivity by 10 dB to 25 dB-Hz and improve performance against multipath interferences.

Tahoe RF Semiconductor has achieved another first pass success with the delivery of a highly integrated specialty GPS Receiver IC with exceptional performance in a small 76-pin molded plastic QFN package.
