Santa Clara Fits the Bill

I attended the DesignCon show in Santa Clara a few weeks ago, along with several colleagues. We were there representing both MWJ and SIJ, with particular emphasis on the latter media, based on the event’s focus. It proved to be a tremendous success for our team, as we distributed hundreds of copies of our first-ever Signal Integrity Journal print magazine, gave away hundreds of t-shirts and scanned hundreds of badges. It was a most worthwhile investment of time and money. And as an added bonus, the weather was beautiful.

Looking Forward

Greetings friends and colleagues! I hope that you’re enjoying the summer and getting some much deserved rest and relaxation. It seems like ages ago since many of us converged in the desert for the annual IMS. It’s always a hectic and productive week but the weather was surprisingly pleasant for May in Phoenix.

The sun is shining, the snow is melting and the birds are chirping. April is here and the future looks bright and busy. The next few months bring us to events in Paris (Microwaves&RF), Beijing (EDI CON), Atlanta (AUVSI) and finally to Phoenix (IMS). It’s Springtime and that means Showtime.

Showtime

With springtime just around the corner (thankfully), showtime for our industry begins to kick into high gear. Next week finds MWJ at the Satellite show in Washington, DC, IWCE in Las Vegas and IEEE EMC & SI in Santa Clara, CA. Next month brings us to the Microwaves & RF event in Paris, WAMICON in Florida and EDI CON in Beijing. In May, the annual IEEE MTT-S IMS takes place in Phoenix. That’s quite the run of events.
