Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for a new 2-way, 90-degree power splitter from M/A-COM Technology Solutions. The MAPD-011018 operates from 5 to 250 MHz and offers excellent temperature stability, low power loss, high signal separation, and even power distribution.

Keysight Technologies Inc. announced the availability of a frequency domain analysis (FDA) option, the industry’s first user-extensible spectrum frequency domain analysis applicationsolution for real-time oscilloscopes. Option N8832A-001 includes the application, the application source code for user extensibility, and MATLAB software. These tools allow engineers to extend the application’s capabilities to meet their current and future testing needs.

The VectorStar ME7838D 145 GHz Broadband system is the first VNA combining RF, microwave and two mm-wave bands in a single coaxial output. Through the use of the Anritsu-developed 0.8 mm coaxial connector, frequencies up to 145 GHz can be propagated within a coaxial transmission line without waveguide flange connections.

Passive Plus Inc. (PPI) has added an industry leading 100% automated CSAM (C Mode Scanning Acoustic Microscopy) internal inspection to all of its high power 2225, 3838, 6040 and 7676 capacitor series RF capacitors. The primary benefit of 100% CSAM internal inspection is increased reliability, by screening out electrically undetectable internal defects such as voids, cracks, de-laminations or electrode dis-continuities.

Rohde & Schwarz has expanded the frequency range of its R&S SMW200A high-end vector signal generator to 20 GHz. The R&S SMW200A is the only instrument on the market to combine a baseband generator, RF generator and fading simulator in a single box. The SMW200A makes it possible to generate two wideband signals with any type of modulation up to 20 GHz using a single device.
