Pickering Interfaces is expanding its range of PCI and PXI Programmable Resistors. The existing PCI High-Density Precision Resistor Card (model 50-297) and PXI High-Density Precision Resistor Module (model 40-297) have been expanded to increase the versions offered from 6 to 42; each version offers users the choice of the number of resistor channels, resistance range and the resistance setting resolution.

Pickering Interfaces, a leading provider of modular signal switching and instrumentation for use in electronic test and simulation, is improving and expanding its range of PXI Microwave Switching Modules. All of these new and improved microwave switch modules will include visual indicators of the relay setting thru the use of blue LEDs that indicate when a normally open path has been closed.

Linear Technology Corp. announces the LT3667, a 400 mA, 40 V step-down switching regulator with dual LDO outputs packaged in a 3 mm x 5 mm QFN or MSOP-16E. The LT3667 offers a highly compact, triple output solution for automotive and industrial applications. The LT3667 operates from a V_IN range of 4.3 to 40 V with transient protection to 60 V.

Richardson RFPD, Inc. announces immediate availability and full design support capabilities for a new absorptive RF single-pole four-throw (SP4T) switch from Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation (Peregrine). The broadband, highly linear PE42442 operates from 450 MHz to 4 GHz and features 61 dB isolation (at 900 MHz), +58 dBm IIP3, and +34 dBm power handling.

Richardson RFPD Inc. announces immediate availability and full design support capabilities for a select group of new low-cost products for wireless infrastructure and Aerospace & Defense applications from Skyworks Solutions, Inc. Devices include LNAs with ultra-low noise figures of 0.23 dB, as well as PAs offering 2 W P_{1 dB} and +25 dBm linear Pout, and switches handling up to 150 W input power.

Linear Technology announces the LTC3637, a 76 V input-capable high efficiency buck converter that delivers up to 1 A of continuous output current. It operates from an input voltage range of 4 to 76 V, making it ideal for telecom, industrial, avionic and automotive applications. The LTC3637 utilizes a programmable peak current-mode design to optimize efficiency over a broad range of output currents.

The HAFM Series of active multipliers is available in models ranging from 30 to 100 GHz. A wide variety of multiplication factors from X2 up to X6 provide the customer with design flexibility for many applications. Basic multiplier circuits can be cascaded to achieve higher order multiplication factors.

Model SWN-2DR-STD is a SPDT solid state reflective switch capable of operating from 8 to 18 GHz and handling 40 W of CW power. The switch has a maximum insertion loss of 2 dB, VSWR of 2.0:1 maximum and an isolation of >40 dB. It has a maximum switching speed of 150 nsec. Switching rate is 500 kHz max. Input and output connectors are SMA (F) with solder pins for TTL and power supplies.

RFMW Ltd. announces application and sales support for high frequency oscillators and VCXO’s to 1500 MHz. These quartz-based, differential and PECL oscillators are targeted to networking and storage applications where fast delivery (less than one week) and high performance are required.

Linear Technology Corporation announces the LT3048, a step-up DC/DC converter with an integrated LDO output that delivers a low noise, low ripple 15 V bias supply. The LT3048-15 delivers up to 40 mA of continuous output current at 15 V with output ripple and noise less than 500 µV_PK-PK and 0.1 % load regulation. The device operates from an input voltage range of 2.7 to 4.8 V, making it suitable for single-cell Li-Ion batteries or 3.3 V logic rails.
