Lockheed Martin has entered into a US Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Agreement with M2 Global Technology Ltd. San Antonio, TX, a small business supplier to Lockheed Martin’s F-16, F-22 and F-35 programs.

Over the one-year period of the Mentor-Protégé relationship, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics will assist and guide M2 Global, a service disabled veteran-owned small business, in the further development and refinement of the manufacturing and management processes needed to better serve its key aerospace, defense and commercial markets.

"The Mentor Protégé program is the ideal vehicle to increase the flow of skills, technology and opportunities to small businesses. M2 Global is exactly the kind of supplier we seek as a protégé partner. Their cost, quality and delivery performance on several platforms is nothing short of excellent. They have the unmistakable potential to meet critical requirements for high-quality components across a number of our platforms," said Gary Bailey, Vice President of Material Management for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. "We will provide the resources, technical expertise, and training required to make this a win-win proposition."
