The International Microwave Symposium (IMS) will introduce its first-ever Presentations Online at IMS2009. The program will provide online access to recordings of most technical presentations, workshops and short courses held during IMS. IMS2009, the annual conference and exhibition of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S), is the centerpiece of Microwave Week, and will be held June 7 to 12 in Boston at the new Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

“We are excited to offer Presentations Online for the first time ever at IMS,” said Charlotte Blair, Virtual Participation Chair for IMS2009 and Eastern US Technical Sales and Applications with Sonnet Software. “It is our hope that this will allow more people to participate in all that IMS has to offer and to expand our global community’s opportunities for collaboration.”

The Presentations Online option will provide access to audio recordings with slide materials of many technical presentations, workshops and short courses held at IMS2009, available through a secured IEEE.tv website. In addition, IMS will provide free viewing of the MicroApps and plenary sessions.
