Established in 1969, HUBER+SUHNER is a leading global supplier of components and systems for electrical and optical connectivity. Headquartered in Switzerland, the industrial group operates 17 subsidiaries, employs 3,200 people in all markets and is represented by 100 distributors. The company offers technical expertise in microwaves, RF, fibre optics and low frequency engineering under one roof, providing a broad range of products that can be relied on in its target markets of communication, transportation and industrial applications.

HUBER+SUHNER sees European Microwave Week as a very important medium for networking in the microwave sector and a means of strengthening its reputation as an innovative company in the microwave arena. We view the content and quality of the EuMW conferences as being a major attraction that will convince engineers and other interested parties to come to Amsterdam.

The European Microwave Exhibition is a complimentary attraction too, where technical expertise can be discussed and practical solutions found. We find the combination of the four conferences and the exhibition works well, but it does not stimulate as many people from outside Europe to attend as we would like. However, EuMW is still very important for HUBER+SUHNER in terms of its European network, if not so much for overseas markets.

HUBER+SUHNER views EuMW as a shop window for its latest innovations and we have targeted the exhibition as a showcase for six new product lines and developments, which is on a much larger scale than the company has ever introduced before. Visitors to Stand 302 will be able to see, for the first time, the SUCOFLEX 400 cable with unique loss performance, the SUCOFLEX 307 flexible cable for high power applications, the SUCOFORM HiRel hand formable cable for space flight application, assemblies for thermal vacuum testing, a High Power Limiter for protection against high power electromagnetic fields in defence applications and the HFS-865 RF test probe for applications up to 10 GHz/12 Gbps.
