Spectrum Control, a designer and manufacturer of electronic control products and systems, opened its new China manufacturing facility. The newly constructed 75,000 ft2 facility, in the Ling Tou District of Qiao Tou Town, a southern province of Guang Dong, was launched in grand style. The opening ceremony was attended by over 100 people, consisting of key customers, suppliers, distributors, sales representatives and local Chinese governmental officials.
"It is with great pride that we announce the relocation of our China manufacturing operations into this new, ultra-modern facility," said Dick Southworth, Spectrum Control's president and chief executive officer. "Our new facility includes a vertically integrated manufacturing center and will enable us to better serve our Asian customers, as well as our commercial customers throughout the rest of the world. Since commencing China manufacturing operations in 2003, we have experienced significant growth. Our new facility, specifically built to our specifications and needs, greatly expands our manufacturing capabilities and strategically positions us for dynamic growth within the Asian marketplace."
