Rogers Corp.'s High Performance Foam Division will be highlighting two key BISCO® Silicone materials at the upcoming Aircraft Interiors Expo, Americas, to be held at the Long Beach, CA Convention Center September 9-11, 2008.

Rogers (Booth #768) will be exhibiting its BISCO L3-A and HT-200 silicone materials in addition to its full line of flame resistant cellular, solid and specialty silicone solutions including materials to meet Boeing (BMS1-68), Airbus (ABS5026, ABS5006) and industry (AMS3195, FAR25.853, FAR25.856) specifications.

BISCO® L3-A, cellular foam meets both FAR25.853(a) and FAR25.856(a), and features low weight and superior vibration mitigation properties. The L3-A material's low weight, low flame and low smoke material properties make it an ideal solution in aircraft interiors applications for gasketing, sealing and gap filling.

BISCO HT-200 is a solid silicone acoustic barrier solution used for aircraft insulation. HT-200 meets FAR25.856(a), and exhibits excellent acoustic properties to prevent sound penetration into the aircraft cabin.

Also, the Rogers Corp. BISCO Silicones facility in Carol Stream, IL has recently completed the required audit for AS9100 QMS Standard and has been recommended for certification.
