SELEX GALILEO has opened its new Electronic Warfare Operational Support (EWOS) facility in Lincoln, UK, dedicated to the delivery of EWOS capability and products. Located at Alpha Court, on the western outskirts of Lincoln, the 1100 m2 facility, which includes a 200 m2 Radio Frequency screened laboratory, is strategically sited to enable the company to provide enhanced Electronic Warfare support to local Royal Air Force operational units and to the UK Air Warfare and Defence EW Centres.
The new facility will enable the company to build on its expertise in the support of hardware systems and software tools and will benefit from the expertise of highly skilled employees with strong military EW and EWOS backgrounds. The facility will employ up to 40 specialists.
