Geensys, a specialist provider of embedded development tools, value-added embedded engineering and consulting services and embedded software IP, has expanded into Germany with the opening of a new direct sales and support office in Munich. Formed recently from the merger of TNI-Software and Ayrton Technology and with well over 200 employees, the company is a significant player in the global embedded market. The new office will drive embedded business in the DACH region — Germany, Austria and Switzerland - and will be headed by Ingo Bruse, sales director for the region, who has over 10 years experience in the embedded and real-time world.

“This is an extremely exciting move for Geensys,” Bruse said. "It will enable us to better serve our already strong and fast growing customer base in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Automotive and industrial automation are traditional key markets in this region. As a leading manufacturer of requirement based engineering tools like Reqtify and ReqCenter and of model-based design tools like ControlBuild and AUTOSAR Builder, the Eclipse-based AUTOSAR tool chain, we are well-positioned to better serve these markets.”

“The opening of our new sales and support office in Germany is the next logical step in strengthening our European presence,” said Eliane Fourgeau, VP sales and marketing for Geensys. “Complementing our direct offices in China and Japan, with the opening of the office in Munich we are much better positioned to serve and support the German embedded market and drive our business forward.”
