mmTron, Inc. announced $45 million in Series A financing. Maverick Silicon led the round with participation from Tipping Point, J&M and other investors.
This funding milestone endorses mmTron’s demonstrated capabilities and its product/market mission to redefine high performance RF connectivity.
“We are building scalable RF technology for next-generation satellite communications, defense radar and data centers, where linearity, bandwidth and power efficiency define system performance,” said Seyed A. Tabatabaei, mmTron’s co-founder and CEO. “This funding will accelerate development and production of our high linearity mmWave products and platforms for system-level solutions.”
Data Bottlenecks
Low Earth orbit mega-constellations require high linearity and wide bandwidth RF links to support high speed data transmission. mmTron’s highly linear and power efficient platforms enable the data flow among satellites and from satellite to Earth.
Data centers and radar systems, whether defense or commercial, have the same need for high-linearity mmWave signal processing.
mmTron is well positioned to address these high growth markets by contributing to the foundational architecture for these systems.
