Smiths Interconnect draws on decades of space heritage to offer SMPM Mini-Lock connectors. They incorporate patented technology to provide reliability and RF performance in harsh shock and vibration environments. More than 50 lbs. of pull strength is assured with an audible click when installed. The connectors operate up to 110 GHz at 50 Ω and deliver a VSWR of 1.25:1 at 26.5 GHz, 1.35:1 at 50 GHz and 1.65:1 at 110 GHz. In addition, the connectors are compact, rugged and blind-mateable for easy integration for use in aerospace, space, defense, telecommunications, industrial equipment and test and measurement applications.

The Mini-Lock Connector features a robust locking mechanism ensuring signal integrity and stable transmission of data between applications. The connector is qualified to vibration per MIL-STD-202, Method 204 and shock per MIL-STD-202, Method 213, Condition I. They have an operating temperature range of -65°C to 165°C and are suitable for harsh mechanical stress environments such as radars, LEO, MEO and GEO satellites, space flight, military, UAV and UGV applications.

The Mini-Lock can be selected for use with Smiths Interconnect high frequency cable assemblies, including the Semi-Rigid and SpaceNXT™ QT Series cables.
