Knowles Corporation has announced the launch of its FM2 range of non-magnetic X7R low loss multilayer ceramic capacitors. The X7R low loss range of capacitors is engineered to provide lower equivalent series resistance (ESR)/higher Q compared to standard X7R capacitors, making them ideal for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems and low noise amplifier (LNA) applications.
Key Features & Advantages:
- Ultra-Low ESR: Minimizes power loss and reduces heat dissipation
- High Q Factor: Ensures superior signal integrity in RF applications
- Non-Magnetic Design: Prevents interference in MRI and other high-precision, non-magnetic systems
- Competitive ESR Performance: Meets or exceeds the industry-leading standards set by leading competitors
- Drop-in Compatibility: Designed for compatibility with standard form factors for seamless integration into existing designs.
“At Knowles, we prioritize our customers’ needs, and the FM2 range is a testament to that commitment,” said Victor Lu, applications engineer at Knowles. "We understand that MRI OEMs and LNA manufacturers require highly reliable, application-specific solutions and we are dedicated to providing them with the best possible component choices.”
