Garlock has announced the launch of WP204, a made-to-order, low loss dielectric material for RF, microwave, and mmWave applications with a dielectric constant (Dk) of 20.4 and a loss tangent (Df) of 0.010. This latest addition extends the range of low-loss WavePro dielectrics to 2.5 – 20.4.

“The use of higher Dk dielectrics can reduce the footprint and weight of many RF products,” said Karl Geoca, senior business development manager for Garlock. “We are excited to be exhibiting in India with our partner, Icon Electromatic. There’s significant activity with innovative RF designs in aerospace, 6G and several other sectors, which will benefit from custom high Dk dielectrics.”

The annual Microwave, Antennas, and Propagation Conference (MAPCON) is being held December 11-14, 2023, in Ahmedabad, India. Visitors to the Icon Electromatic booth will be able to learn more about the properties of the WavePro dielectric material, and how it can be fabricated into conformal surfaces and 3D shapes for advanced designs.
