EDI CON China 2024 returns to Beijing and the Chinese National Convention Center (CNCC) April 9-10 with an industry exhibition as well as a technical conference that includes two days of technical presentations, workshops, panels and featured keynote talks. The event expects a strong attendance as engineers and managers return to trade shows so they can learn new design and test techniques plus network with colleagues.

Originally planned for November 2023, Horizon House has decided to move the event back to its normal venue and time slot in the spring at CNCC in order to add more features to the event such as international keynotes, awards program and special focused topic tracks. It also allows the event to return to the fourth floor of the first-class venue, the CNCC, that features larger exhibition space and convenient conference rooms next to the exhibition floor.

This year’s event plans to include technical sessions and workshops in these topic areas:

  • 5G/6G Technologies such as RedCap, NTN, mmWave, THz
  • LEO satellite communications
  • IoT technologies
  • Test and measurement for advanced technologies
  • Design, modeling and simulation software
  • New antenna/packaging technologies
  • Software defined radios
  • Advanced semiconductor technologies
  • EMC/EMI/SI/PI
  • High speed and high frequency interconnects
  • Application of AI and ML
  • Wi-Fi 6/Wi-Fi 7
  • Navigation and positioning technologies
  • Automotive and V2X
  • New Radar and EW technologies
  • New materials, passive and active components
  • Defense and aerospace applications of microwave/RF
  • Biomedical applications of microwave/RF.

The two days will include technical presentations based on abstracts that were peer reviewed by the EDI CON China Technical Advisory Committee. The conference will also include workshops presented by EDI CON China sponsors, covering application and product specific topics, and offering hands-on advice for how to use systems, devices as well as test and measurement, simulation and modeling equipment in the latest electronic designs. Planned show floor applications talks will be open to all attendees and offer insight into the best design practices. Reserve this date in your calendar. Registration will open early in 2024.
