Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. announced that it has entered into a multi-year, multimillion-dollar strategic framework agreement with a world-leading unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) manufacturer.
High/medium altitude long endurance UAVs will be empowered with innovative capabilities enabled by next-generation BRP60 satellite communication terminals from Gilat.
The BRP60 is a modular satcom terminal that has recently been optimized with advanced capabilities increasing system robustness and reliability. With a multi-axis, 60 cm parabolic dish, it is configurable to operate with Ku- or Ka-Band satellites. Designed for new platforms and evolving UAV designs, Gilat’s BRP60 is ready to adapt to sophisticated missions anywhere in the world.
