RFMW announced design and sales support for ultra-wideband (UWB) antennas from Sangshin Elecom. The KSCA-UWBS86A linear polarized, UWB chip antenna is designed to offer high efficiency in channels 1 through 7 (3,200 to 7,200 MHz) making it ideal for end-use products targeting markets in the U.S., Europe and parts of Asia. With a small form factor of only 8 x 6 mm, the device achieves 6 dB of gain in channel 4 (4,000 MHz) while covering a wide range of the most common UWB channels. The KSCA-UWBS54A is a complementary solution operating across channels 5 to 8 (6 to 8 GHz) and offering 5.5 dB peak gain. Technical support is available from RFMW and is recommended at the earliest stage of design.
