Low Noise MMIC Amplifier

The ADL9005 is a self-biased low noise MMIC amplifier that operates from 0.01 to 26.5 GHz. The amplifier provides 17.5 dB gain, 3.9 dB noise figure and a typical output third-order intercept of 25 dBm. The RF input and output are internally matched to 50 Ω. The saturated output power of up to 16 dBm enables the low noise amplifier to also function as a local oscillator driver. The ADL9005 is housed in a 4 × 4 mm surface mount package.

Gallium Nitride (GaN) Amplifier

COMTECH PST introduced a new GaN amplifier for ground or surface X-Band radar applications. The AB linear design operates from 9.2 to 9.7 GHz frequency range over an instantaneous bandwidth of 500 MHz. Development of this product is for a TWT replacement. The amplifier design features self-protection for load VSWR, duty factor, pulse width, temperature, as well as a graceful degradation in case of a RF power module failure.

TEST & MEASUREMENT
High Performance Phase Noise Analyzer

The APPH is a high performance phase noise analyzer and tester with models from 1 MHz up to 65 GHz. It offers an indispensable set of measurement functions for evaluating signal sources (crystal oscillators, VCOs, transmitters, phase locked loops, frequency synthesizer and more, ranging from VHF to microwave frequencies) but also active and passive non-self-oscillating devices like amplifiers or frequency dividers. A mixed-signal system architecture with a FPGA cross-spectrum engine enables very fast signal processing and ultra-low phase noise sensitivity.

Pulse Profiling Power Sensor

LadyBug Technologies’ newly updated LB680A, 20 GHz thermally stable USB power sensor is better than ever. The pulse profiling sensor also makes statistical pulse measurements such as peak, pulse, CDF, CCDF, PDF and average. ATE systems running 32- or 64-bit programs operate in either 32- or 64-bit environments without additional drivers. The sensor is capable of making over 2,000 settled average measurements per second in addition to pulse measurements.
