The reported evanescent coupled DCSR-4096 (4096 MHz) VCO offers fundamental output tones for low noise signal source applications (without frequency multiplication), and can be extended for any other fixed and narrow frequency band (100-12000MHz) applications. The typical measured phase noise for DCSR 4096 is –112 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset from the carrier with +7dBm output power using nominal 35 mA current at +8 VDC.
