Cinch Connectivity Solutions announced the expansion of UMC to SMA Adapters. These adapters support conversion between UMC and the popular SMA interfaces, with both a Jack-Plug and Plug-Jack version.
Cinch Connectivity Solutions’ Johnson series of UMC to SMA Adapters complement the UMC family offering of a PCB-mounted connector and more than 75 cable assemblies, available in low profile and ultra-low-profile mating heights of 2.5 mm and 2.0 mm, in standard fixed lengths between 50 mm and 500 mm. UMC connectors, adapters and cable assemblies are designed for applications with 50-ohm impedance requirements, operating to 6 GHz and are compatible with the U.FL interface. These adapters are commonly used in wireless internet (Wi-Fi®, WiMax® Solutions), wireless infrastructure (cellular base stations), RFID/ Bluetooth inventory/barcode scanners, handheld devices and GPS modules.
