EDI CON China 2019 showcased award-winning products and grew attendance during this year’s event April 1-3, 2019 at the China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing, China. Completing its seventh year, EDI CON China continues to be the largest microwave and high speed digital design conference and exhibition in China.
This year’s event saw 6 percent increase in attendance, with 45 percent of attendees returning for a second day of sessions and exhibits. Space is already being booked for the 2020 event, and is on a record pace for returning exhibitors.
"We continue to be very pleased with the success of EDI CON China ," said Ivar Bazzy, president of Horizon House, the conference's organizer. "It is a great opportunity for companies from around the world to meet and talk with enthusiastic and creative engineers in China who show a real desire to learn about new products and methodologies."
The technical sessions and panels were organized around tracks focused on 5G, test & measurement, radar/communications, amplifiers, RF/microwave, measurement and modeling, signal integrity and power integrity. The featured keynote talks were given by representatives from the event Host Sponsor Keysight Technologies and Diamond Sponsor Rohde & Schwarz. The invited featured keynote speaker was Steven Sandler, founder of Picotest. In his talk, Sandler, a renowned power expert, addressed “Power Related Considerations in RF, Microwave and High Speed Circuits.”
The exhibition included nearly 100 exhibitors, including sponsors Keysight Technologies and Rohde & Schwarz . On April 2, the EDI CON Product Innovation Awards were presented in the Frequency Matters Theater on the show floor. Next year's event, EDI CON China 2020, will be held at the CNCC in Beijing on May 12-13.
