RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a high power, high isolation RF switch from Aethercomm. The SSHPS 1.0-2.5-200, single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch handles up to 200 W of CW RF power from 1,000 to 2,500 MHz for communication and Electronic Warfare systems. With typical isolation of 50 dB and 2 uSec maximum switching speed, the SSHPS 1.0-2.5-200 draws 500mA from a +28 Vdc supply. Operating from -30°C to +70°C up to 15,000 feet altitude, this switch meets MIL-STD shock and vibration specifications under operating conditions.
