RFMW Ltd. announced a distribution agreement with Rakon Ltd. effective immediately. Under the agreement, RFMW is authorized to market and sell Rakon’s portfolio of frequency control and timing solutions. Rakon offers high performance crystal oscillators, OCXOs, OCSOs, TCXOs, VCXOs, XOs and crystal resonators. RFMW is a specialized distributor providing customers and suppliers with focused distribution of RF and microwave components as well as specialized component-engineering support.
“We are pleased to welcome RFMW as one of our sales channel partners,” stated Hugh Tucker, Global Sales Administration and Marketing manager at Rakon. “Having RFMW as an authorized distributor provides a new window of opportunity. It enables Rakon to reach a wider customer base and extends our reach to accounts where Rakon does not currently have a presence.” Tucker continued, “RFMW has valuable expertise in a highly specialized area. Adding Rakon products to their portfolio broadens their product offering to the customers they serve, who typically require RF or microwave component solutions.”
Tucker confirmed there will be no change in contacts for Rakon’s existing customers. “We continue to have a dedicated and global customer and technical support team who deal with our existing customers and work closely with them in the local markets in which we operate.”
