RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for thin film, fixed attenuator pads from SemiGen, Inc. SemiGen offers a series of fixed attenuators from 1 to 30 dB in 1dB increments with flat frequency response from DC to 50 GHz.

The SFAP series feature precise resistor films and superior metallization resulting in consistent performance and reliability. Full side wraps connect the topside ground to the backside metallization for surface mount or on-board installation. Gold bondable top side contacts for the input and output make these ideal for standard RF/microwave assembly techniques. Power handling is 1 to 5 W CW. Return loss is >18 dB to 14 GHz and >16 dB to 50 GHz.

 Optimized for coplanar waveguide or microstrip PCB, the SFAP chip size is .030" X .030".
