Wireless and Microwave Technology Conference (WAMICON), announced sponsors for the 18th annual event which will take place in Cocoa Beach Florida. The conference, which will focus on power amplifiers, semiconductors and software for 5G wireless communications and the Internet of Things (IoT), will take place from April 24-25, 2017.

This year’s platinum sponsor is Mini-Circuits, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of RF/IF and microwave products from DC to 40 GHz for commercial, industrial, and military applications.   With design, manufacturing and sales locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits offers 27 product lines comprising over 10,000 unique models as well as custom designs.  Mini-Circuits products are used in a wide range of wired and wireless communication systems including telecommunications, CATV and broadband/optical networks, defense, aerospace, test and measurement, medical and diagnostic and more. “We are long time supporters of IEEE WAMICON because the RF and MW conference brings together industry, academia, and government experts in our field, in a collaborative venue. We are especially interested in this year’s event focus on the role RF components will play in 5G and IoT,” said Ted Heil, sales and marketing manager at Mini-Circuits.

Jim Assurian, exhibition and sponsor co-chair for WAMICON, business development manager for Reactel added “We are thrilled to see Mini-Circuits return as the platinum sponsor. In addition, both Keysight and Wolfspeed, A Cree Company, returned as gold level sponsors of the conference. They have supported our conference and educated attendees for well over a decade now. I think that is a testament to the quality of the conference and our network.” Our 2017 returning silver sponsors are Harris Corporation and TTE Corporation. We are also very proud to announce that Qorvo, a provider of innovative and high performance RF solutions for advanced wireless devices, defense radar and communications, is a new silver sponsor to WAMICON 2017.

WAMICON will return to Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront on Florida’s space coast. Those interested in securing exhibit space or sponsoring can contact Jim Assurian jassurian@reactel.com   or David Zavac dzavac@tte.com.
