Microwave Development Labs (MDL) will be present at Satellite 2016, exhibiting at booth #1946 within the Gaylord National Convention Center, National Harbor, Md. Satellite 2016, to be held from March 7-10, is the most important global satellite communications event of the year and encompasses the largest gathering of all markets in the satellite community.

The firm’s representatives will be showing examples of the company’s low-loss passive waveguide components for ground and space-based satcom applications from 1 to 50 GHz.

Product lines, which support voice, video, and Internet communications on board both satellites and for satcom earth stations, include waveguide directional couplers, phase shifters, power dividers/combiners, rotary joints, switches and waveguide assemblies.

MDL will also have on display high-frequency coaxial and waveguide rotary joints, along with precision microwave investment castings, loop couplers, and adapters. Staff members will be on hand to discuss the company’s extensive in-house design and manufacturing capabilities for creating custom waveguide components, waveguide-to-coaxial adapters, and specialized waveguide multifunction assemblies.
