Mercury Systems Inc., announced its participation in the upcoming 2015 Defense Daily Open Architecture Summit, to be held Nov. 4, 2015 in Washington, D.C. Dr. Ian Dunn, Mercury’s vice president and general manager, Embedded Products Group, will serve on a panel addressing Open Architectures in Electronic Warfare (EW) at 3:30 PM ET.

The panel will address a range of topics including how open architectures are being leveraged in EW and how this use can be increased; the role of COTS-based approaches; how open architecture solutions can be adapted to new threats, and how scalable open architecture designs are procured and implemented. Representatives from the Association of Old Crows, Northrup Grumman, Lockheed Martin and the Air Force Research Laboratory Sensors Directorate will join Dr. Dunn on the panel.
