Versatile, wideband amplifier ideal for circuits with an incoming signal that varies over a broad bandwidth
Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for a wideband amplifier from M/A-COM Technology Solutions.
The MAAM-011109-DIE is an easy-to-use, wideband amplifier that operates from DC to 50 GHz and features 15 dB of gain, +21 dBm P1dB (+15 dBm to 40 GHz), with 22 dB of reverse isolation, 15 dB return loss, and OIP3 of +29 dBm at 5V/190mA with VG1 = -0.4V.
The new amplifier includes a gate bias adjust to change current setting for power or temperature, a gain trim control that allows 15 dB of gain control (0 to -1 V), and a temperature-compensated power detector that provides a DC voltage in relation to the output power.
The MAAM-011109-DIE is ideally suited for any application that requires 50 Ω gain from DC to 50 GHz. It is useful in circuits where the incoming signal varies over a broad bandwidth, including laboratory, instrumentation and defense applications.
The MAAM-011109-DIE measures 1.97 mm x 1.30 mm x 0.1 mm and has gold-plated contact pads and backside.
