M/A-COM Technology Solutions Holdings Inc. ("MACOM"), a leading supplier of high performance RF, microwave, and millimeter wave products, announced two high power PIN diode switches, with industry leading linearity in a common anode configuration, operating over the 50 MHz to 1 GHz frequency range.

The MASW-011040 and MASW-011041 are designed for military and civilian customers who require higher CW and pulsed power operation for land mobile radio applications.

MACOM enables the connections that ensure high data-density network performance form L-Band to Ka-Band. Our analog RF, microwave and millimeter wave innovations optimize wireless bandwidth for clear, uninterrupted signals across even remote locations. For over 60 years, we've made the weak strong and the powerless powerful in the most demanding military and commercial applications on the ground, in the air or at sea. We have the industry's broadest, most technologically advanced portfolio spanning 50 MHz to 100 GHz for best-in-class voice, data and HD video streaming.

These devices are capable of handling 200 W CW incident power at a base plate temperature of 85°C, delivered in a single 9mm HQFN 20-lead plastic package. Covering 50 MHz to 1 GHz, both devices deliver > 40 dB isolation at 1 GHz with insertion loss of < 0.5 dB and are compatible with MACOM's MADR-010574 PIN diode driver.

The MASW-011040 and MASW-011041 are manufactured using MACOM's hybrid manufacturing process featuring high voltage PIN diodes and passive devices and are a high power switch ideal for use on land mobile radio and MIL-COM applications that require higher power.

"These high power switches are ideal for land mobile applications requiring high linearity, broadband performance and low loss," said Paul Wade, product manager. "These switch devices incorporate high levels of integration which provide users over 80 percent of space savings and significant reduction in BOM content."

Production quantities and samples of MASW-011040 and MASW-011041 are available from stock. Final datasheets and additional product information can be obtained from the MACOM website at: www.macom.com.
