Two new high performance directional couplers from AtlanTecRF cover the entire frequency range from 375 MHz to 18 GHz with at least 3 GHz of overlap.

Available in a choice of either 10, 20, or 30 dB the 50 W couplers with SMA connectors and built-in terminations will operate over a temperature range of -55 to +55° C, making them suitable for use in applications from airborne ECM to the benign test bench.

In announcing the introduction of this CDC series, Geoff Burling, CEO of AtlanTecRF said, “These new couplers deliver high performance at economic cost for the microwave engineer in a whole variety of systems and are available as commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) items”.

The stainless steel connectors mount to the chromate finished aluminium alloy housings in compact sizes.

Coupling accuracy is typically +/- 1.0dB with variations over the extra wide bandwidths of +/- 1.0dB, while VSWR is in the range 1.2:1 to 1.5:1 depending upon the model.
