DC BlocksAtlanTecRF has introduced a new series of coaxial DC Blocks which are designed to provide the RF/Microwave communication systems engineer with versatile solutions in dealing with the presence of DC power on coaxial signal cables.

With frequency ranges from 10 MHz to 40 GHz these small devices allow RF/microwave signals to pass with minimum insertion loss while blocking any DC present.

Provided with a choice of SMA, Type N or 2.92 mm connectors in male to female configuration, there are models for blocking DC on either the inner conductor outer conductor or both, with voltage ratings up to 200 volts.

Typical RF performance includes insertion losses of 0.5dB and VSWR of 1.35:1 with a very wide operating temperature range of typically -65 to +125C.

Geoff Burling, AtlanTecRF CEO said, “These miniature and inexpensive devices are a boon to the RF transmission and test lab engineer in providing an easy-to-use and versatile solution to a common need.”

All units have passivated stainless steel bodies and are well suited to varied and harsh environments.
