Last call for May! That’s right; we are closing the May IEEE MTT-S IMS show issue this week for advertising, so book soon if you want to participate this year and have not done so already. As usual, the May issue will be distributed in the delegate bags at IMS and on the exhibition floor in addition to more than 50,000 global subscribers. All advertisers who are exhibiting will be included in the “Product Showcase,” a section devoted to covering the products that will be on display at this year’s event. We present the exhibitors by aisle, making it easy for attendees to locate the companies and products of most interest to them. The issue itself is loaded with show related content along with the usual assortment of technical articles, news and events. David Vye expands on this content in his contribution to this month’s Waveguide.

We’re also closing the May/June issue of Microwave Journal China later this month. The editorial theme for this issue is “Connectivity Solutions” and will also be distributed at IMS and the Microwave Wireless Industry Exhibition (MWIE) in Chongqing, China (May 21-23). MWJ China reaches 10,000 qualified RF and microwave professionals in this fast growing market and this new publication has been very well received by both readers and advertisers. The March/April edition was “flying off the shelves” at EDI CON in Beijing last month. Speaking of EDI CON, the inaugural event was a huge success, drawing nearly 2,000 highly qualified attendees to the conference and exhibition in a unique industry-driven format that proved to be extremely effective. Watch for information on EDI CON 2014 coming soon, or see us at CTIA and IMS to discuss the event in person.

The MWJ team will be covering CTIA Wireless next month in Las Vegas and is once again organizing the RF/Microwave Zone pavilion on the exhibition floor. This will be the 5th annual dedicated pavilion, where companies in our sector aggregate to display the building blocks and testing tools of the mobile infrastructure. The pavilion provides a low-cost, turn-key opportunity to exhibit and display your company’s products to 40,000 mobile professionals from around the globe and benefits from targeted promotion through both MWJ and CTIA. There are still a few booths available, so contact your sales representative or Kristen Anderson for more information, if you’re interested.

It’s finally warming up here in New England, baseball season is in full swing, and we’ve got exciting events on the horizon. I hope to see you at one or more of them. Until then, enjoy the ride.

Regards,
