AWR Corp., the innovation leader in high-frequency EDA software, announces that it will continue to offer its popular Graduate Gift Initiative to graduating engineering students worldwide for a record fourth consecutive year.

The AWR Graduate Gift Initiative program provides qualified electrical engineering graduates with free and fully functional one-year licenses of AWR software, inclusive of Microwave Office® and Visual System Simulator™ software suites as well as AXIEM® 3D planar EM simulation software. This gift, while restricted to the graduate's personal use (node locked versus floating license), is not restricted to educational use but rather open for commercial use at the graduate's current/future employer. This enables students who used AWR software within their classroom environment to take their familiar tools with them to their new jobs, giving them a jumpstart on their career and saving significant learning curve time.

"The ability of graduating electrical engineering students to bring with them expertise in AWR’s powerful design tools is a resume asset for employers, who have made it clear that real-world experience is desirable in this extremely competitive industry where design cycles define success," said Sherry Hess, vice president of marketing at AWR.  "The feedback from global employers and international universities since we began the program in the U.S. in 2010 has been extremely positive and has encouraged us to continue this and other programs to enhance the design tool learning experience for engineering students worldwide."
