Advantech Wireless Inc., a privately-held Canadian corporation and manufacturer of satellite, RF equipment and microwave systems, announced that it has received new orders in excess of $2M for its high power, high linearity GaN based SSPA line, covering both C-Band and Ku-Band.
Designed specifically for size and weight limited applications, with very low energy consumption and high reliability, the Advantech Wireless new generation SSPAs are the preferred choice for the broadcast industry, as well as emergency response government services.
These GaN based SSPAs will be installed in a redundant configuration on a new fleet of SNG trucks designed to cover upcoming sport events as well as live news.
